i was born and raised in san francisco but since 1990 i have lived in brainerd minnesota, ft collins colorado, sag harbor new york, palo alto calif, the gold country of calif and now i'm here in fargo north dakota....i hear you asking "FARGO???? what are you doing in fargo??!!??"...well the answer is simple ...i came here to watch my grandson grow up....and now he has a new baby sister....and there is another baby grandson living in calif who may be moving back to this part of the country soon too....

late in life i'm discovering the artistic side of me that i never had time for before...first came photography...which is still my fist passion...that was followed by various crafts (stained glass, dream catchers, wreaths, paper making, basket weaving and several other things)...most recently i've discovered water color painting...which i very much enjoy...i do other more traditional things like knitting and crocheting and sewing too...

i'm a docent at the local living history village...which means i dress up in an old fashioned costume and either walk around talking to visitors or i demonstrate basket weaving sitting in front of an original log cabin....

i've been face painting at street fairs and carnivals etc since the 60's in san francisco...a fun way to make money with very little overhead...tho i often do it for charity as well....

another thing i'm learning to do late in life is how to live alone and be responsible for my own life...something i never thought i'd have to do....but i'm discovering that i rather enjoy not having to report to or be responsible for any one but myself....
